Balkan Paradise Orchestra (BPO) was formed in Barcelona in early 2015. Time and again they prove that they are a unique pioneering band. The group, consisting of 11 female wind and percussion musicians brings joy and a fresh sound to the emerging brass scene.
With different backgrounds, influences and experiences, but always with a shared interest in Balkan tradition, these 11 women transform this genre of music into an authentic elixir of traditional melodies with rhythms from around the world. They offer a show full of energy that works both on stage and on the streets.
