In the past, Marmoucha Orchestra successfully worked with Mehdi on the project
Sahara Koyo, leading to a tour in the Netherlands and resulting in an album.
Over the years, both sides have developed a strong trust and understanding of
each other’s musical worlds. With the new program called Sonic Bridges, they aim to take their
collaboration to the next level. The project is not just about arranging Mehdi’s
tunes but creating something new together: a united sound and style, with
improvisation and groove at its core.
