Reardon (vocals, guitars) from the UK and Hong Kong, Tal Pinhas (bass, guitars) from Israel and David “Dizzy” Suhlrie (drums) from Germany formed PLAIINS in 2021.
Lyrically the band confront issues in politics, social inequality, heartbreak, mental health and lyricist and vocalist Chris Reardon explores themes full of imagery, detail and character.
Since April 2022 releasing their first single have been consistently added to All New Punk, All New Rock, Fresh Find New Rock and Alternarock playlists on Spotify amounting to over 170k streams. The band have released a number of entertaining music videos directed
by themselves which have quickly gained a following and love with over 50,000 views on Youtube. PLAIINS have gone from strength to strength with radio play in the UK including BBC Radio and BBC Introducing’s “Track of the Week” for their single C-A-P-I-T-A-L and
radio play in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Canada.
In September 2022 the band released their debut EP and have followed this up with a number of singles including their latest single POLDICKS from their second EP on 1st February 2023
