Meet Holland’s latest outpour of fury: State Power! Thrashy hardcore punk that can only be described as “pure love, in its most aggressive form”

Their thrashy debut single ‘Gates of Hell’ created quite a stir, including a feature in the popular Dutch heavy music podcast ‘Zes Losse Tanden’. This summer, they performed at renowned festivals like Haltpop and shared the stage with punk acts such as Cancer Bats and Tusky.

Their debut EP ‘The Year of the Harvest’ includes tracks such as ‘Payback’, a 2 minute shredder that is a distillation of real climate rage, or better yet, climate vengeance. Or, its title track, where the band offers listeners a hopeful anti-fascist sing-along:
